VAULT & CO — TERMS OF SERVICE

1. About Vault & Co

This website is operated by Vault And Co (Pty) Ltd (“Vault & Co”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

Vault & Co provides customers with access to products available from participating and independent retailers and suppliers. Depending on the product, Vault & Co may procure or collect an item from a third-party retailer or supplier after a customer places an order.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the presence of a retailer, store, brand or product on Vault & Co does not imply that Vault & Co is an authorised representative, agent, franchisee or affiliate of that retailer or brand.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Products and Product Information

We aim to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, pricing and availability displayed on Vault & Co are accurate.

However, because products may originate from independent stores and suppliers, stock levels and certain product information can change without notice.

Product images may also appear slightly different from the physical product because of photography, screen settings, packaging changes or other reasonable variations.

Where a material error is identified before fulfilment, we will contact you before proceeding where reasonably necessary.

3. Product Availability

Products displayed on Vault & Co are subject to availability.

In some cases, an item may appear available when the physical retailer or supplier has subsequently sold out or is otherwise unable to supply it.

If an ordered product becomes unavailable after payment, Vault & Co will contact you and may offer a suitable alternative.

You may choose to accept the alternative or receive a refund for the unavailable item.

Where an order contains multiple products, the remaining available products may continue to be fulfilled unless otherwise agreed with you.

4. Prices

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.

The product price displayed on Vault & Co is the price payable by the customer through the platform and may differ from a price offered by an independent retailer through another sales channel.

Vault & Co reserves the right to correct genuine pricing or listing errors. If a material pricing error affects an order that has already been submitted, we will contact you before fulfilment and provide the options available to you.

5. Vault & Co Service Fee

Vault & Co charges a service fee calculated as 10% of the applicable merchandise subtotal.

The service fee contributes to the operation of the Vault & Co service, including sourcing, procurement, order coordination and related platform services.

The applicable service fee is displayed separately before the customer completes checkout.

6. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on factors including the delivery destination, parcel details and available courier services.

Delivery charges are separate from the Vault & Co service fee.

7. Payment

Orders must be paid using one of the payment methods made available at checkout.

Payment processing may be provided by independent payment-service providers, including Yoco.

An order is not considered successfully submitted until the payment process has been completed and the order has been accepted by our system.

8. Order Processing and Procurement

After receiving an order, Vault & Co may need to procure or collect products from one or more stores or suppliers before dispatch.

This means there may be a processing period between placement of an order and handover to the courier.

Where practical, products from multiple stores may be consolidated into a single shipment.

9. Delivery

Vault & Co currently delivers within South Africa.

Courier delivery is generally estimated at 1–3 business days after dispatch, subject to destination, courier availability and circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise.

Our Shipping & Delivery Policy forms part of these Terms.

10. Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, contact Vault & Co as soon as possible.

Whether an order can be cancelled may depend on whether procurement, collection, preparation or dispatch has already begun and on any rights provided to you by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits a statutory cancellation or cooling-off right that applies to your transaction.

11. Returns and Refunds

Returns, defective products, incorrect products and refunds are handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable South African law.

The policies of an underlying store or supplier do not remove any statutory rights a customer may have against Vault & Co.

12. Third-Party Retailers and Brands

Vault & Co may source genuine products available from independent third-party retailers and suppliers.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Vault & Co does not claim an official partnership, endorsement, sponsorship or authorised-retailer relationship with a particular brand, shopping centre, store or supplier merely because its products are accessible through our platform.

All third-party trademarks, product names and brand names remain the property of their respective owners.

13. Customer Information

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when placing an order, including your name, contact information and delivery address.

You are responsible for checking your order details before completing checkout.

Additional costs resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer may be payable by the customer where permitted by law.

14. Acceptable Use

You may not misuse the Vault & Co website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, commit fraud, submit false information or use the service for unlawful purposes.

We may refuse or cancel transactions involving suspected fraud, unlawful activity or misuse, subject to applicable law.

15. Intellectual Property

Vault & Co's original branding, website design, written content and other proprietary materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Third-party trademarks, product images and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

16. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vault & Co will not be responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by South African law.

17. Privacy

Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African data-protection requirements.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the website at the relevant time will apply, subject to applicable law and any rights already accrued.
